ICANDO Trefoil Girlguiding Reflection Day

Members of Orpington Trefoil Guild and others from Greater London Kent recently spent a day at the ICANDO centre for their Reflections Day. Other Trefoil Guild members from Brighton and Horsham joined them.
They were also delighted to meet Liz Burnley, Chief Guide, and Margaret Routley, our National Chairman, who popped down to see them when they heard there were Trefoil Members in Centre.
The members spent the day reliving memories and particularly enjoyed meeting the Archivist, Karen Stapley, who had found a photo of the 5th St. Mary Cray Guides and a snap of Brownies laying bricks at the Methodist Church in Sevenoaks Road.
Members also watched a film of a Guide Unit at camp, which again brought back some very pleasant memories. They finished an enjoyable day at the Centre with a cream tea.
