The Trefoil Guild and Rainbow Unit working together
Having achieved everything from being a Brownie to a Guider, Commissioner and PR Rep.I DID IT! I RETIRED FROM GUIDING! Well nearly. When my Grand-daughter joined Rainbows it was much easier to stay and help than go home so I got CRB clearance and became a Unit Helper. Six weeks after being asked at the school gates if I would consider going into uniform - to which I replied NOT A HOPE, I became an Assistant Guider (someone changed the retirement age!!)

Ann Jewett, Stockton Trefoil Guild is recognised by both Scout and Guide Associations
I was delighted to be awarded a Silver Acorn in the Scout Association St George’s Awards 2011 in recognition of specially distinguished service to scouting. As an award recipient I was invited to the St. George’s Day Parade at Windsor Castle on Sunday 1st May 2011 where I saw the Chief Scout Bear Grylls and watched the parade of Queen’s Scouts. This was a very enjoyable and memorable occasion. I received my award at the Scout County AGM on 11th July 2011.
